Emotions That Are Conflicted
I am but a humble poet who is plagued with a conflict of his own emotions. Moved and enthralled by all things beauteous, I still have an infatuation towards misery.

Misery being the only one that loves me, I cannot help but love her back. And yet, I am fascinated by all forms of beauty! It’s like I have a thousand voices speaking to me from all directions; urging me to follow a thousand different paths. To decide the course of my life is in my own hands. But I know not what road to choose. Even as Frost said, this is ‘worse than being a swinger of birches’.
Nonetheless, I believe that the answers to all of my questions lies within myself. One can find these answers with careful, or rather carefree, thought and reasoning. My life was changed when I read Leonardo, saying:
“You can learn everything by observation; and observation alone!”
Before I take the journey beyond all bounded realms: I intend to find some answers for myself; and to leave some questions for others!
